Join the Band!
Learning to play a musical instrument and being a part of a performing group is an incredible experience that can bring a lifetime of fun, enjoyment, and purpose. It is a mistake to think that you must start at an earlier age in order to be a part of the band. Many students with no musical training have done it successfully. It only takes desire and perserverance. And you will have the help of the band director and all of the other students who want you to succeed and have fun. Talk to Mr. Ahrens or your counselor about adding Symphonic Band to your schedule and you could be starting next Semester!
